PRP (platelet rich plasma) is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets — and, thereby, the concentration of growth factors — can be 5 to 10 times greater than usual. Although platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood, they also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors that are very important in the healing of injuries and regenerating new tissue.

At your appointment, a simple blood draw is all that is required to start the process. The PRP is concentrated during the collection and isolation process, and then the 'liquid gold' is used for your procedure. We love that this is harnessing your body's own healing and regenerative ability and gives long lasting, powerful results in so many varied areas of concern.

-SkinPen with PRP - we combine the PRP with this microneedling procedure throughout the face to give truly improved texture, tone, clarity and pore size. Microdoses of Botox can also be used in a cocktail with this procedure to produce truly 'glass skin' results before special events/occasions. Generally the down time from microneedling is shortened when PRP is added as well.
