What is it?
DiolazeXL is a leading laser in hair removal, with one of the largest treatment area sizes (faster treatments) and enough power to treat even the most stubborn hair. The Diolaze laser safely eliminates unwanted hair more quickly and conveniently than others, achieving excellent long term results which are permanent in many cases.
How does it work?
During treatment, the diode laser beam passes through the skin towards the hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up and damages the roots of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.
Does it hurt?
The device has a built-in cooling surface which truly makes the treatment more comfortable than other hair removal devices on the market. Most patients note that the treatment is virtually pain-free. However, we want your treatment to be as pleasant as possible so please let your provider know in advance if you have a low pain threshold. They will have options available to make you more comfortable.
Will I need multiple treatments?
Yes. While reduced hair re-growth is noticeable after your first session, the best long-term results are visible after four to six treatment sessions as every area of the body has hairs in many different growth stages. The number of treatment sessions depends on many factors including hair color, hair type, body area and skin tone.

What Areas Can Be Treated?
Vasculaze Laser Treatment is effective for treating vascular lesions on any area of the body, including the face, legs, and other body parts.
What Should I Expect During & Right After Treatment?
During the procedure, we use a handheld laser device to deliver pulses of energy to the targeted veins. You may feel a slight stinging sensation, but most patients report little to no discomfort. The treatment typically lasts between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the size and number of the veins being treated. Right after the treatment, you may experience some mild swelling and redness, but this will fade within a few hours.
How Much Downtime Should I Expect?
One of the biggest benefits of Vasculaze Laser Treatment is that there is virtually no downtime. You can resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment, although it is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise or hot showers for 24 hours.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
You will see some improvement immediately after the treatment, but the full results will take a few weeks to become apparent as the targeted veins gradually fade away. Most patients require 2-3 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

What Should I Expect During & Right After Treatment?:
Before treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to help with discomfort. During treatment, there will be a bright flash of light from the device, and you may experience a sensation that feels like an elastic band lightly snapping your skin. Most describe this discomfort as mild. Your skin may be red or feel warm immediately after treatment; this is normal and will usually subside within an hour.
24-48 hours post-treatment, you may see darkening (or peppering) of the treated pigmented spots; within a week post-treatment, the pigmented lesions will flake off, leading to an evening out of the skin tone.
How Much Downtime Should I Expect?
None to very little. You may experience sensitive skin immediately and the first few days post-treatment that feels similar to a sunburn.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
Sun damage and skin complexion results can be seen a few days after the first session. The skin will continue to look younger and more brilliant over time, with the most visible results 1-2 weeks post-treatment.
For vascular treatments, visible results are typical in up to two weeks.
How Many Sessions Do You Recommend?

Before treatment, a numbing agent is applied to the skin to help with discomfort. During treatment, you may experience a sensation that feels like tiny pokes from a hot pin. If you have a low pain tolerance, we have additional options to help you stay relaxed and comfortable during your procedure. Just be sure to let your provider know.
It is common for patients to experience some redness, pinpoint bleeding, mild bruising, and swelling within the first 24 hours. You will receive an after-care kit from your provider at your appointment. Use it as directed for the next few days to ensure that you heal properly from your treatment. Also, it is best to avoid direct sun exposure. If you are going to be outside, apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen to help protect your skin.
What Downtime Should I Expect?
Little to none. You may have sensitive skin that feels similar to a mild sunburn. Some patients experience redness, pinpoint bleeding, mild bruising, and swelling; this will usually subside within 24 hours of the treatment.
How Soon Can I See Results?
